Testimonials
While this site is mostly from the perspective of me presenting myself to the world, it’s just as, if not arguably even more important, to get the perspectives of others. Here’s what some of the various clients I’ve worked with over the years have to say…
“On several occasions, I’ve enlisted Evan’s help to tell the stories of The Flenser’s artists and their respective upcoming records. For each project, Evan conducted his services with the utmost professionalism, being consistently communicative, punctual, and accommodating throughout the process of each assignment. That level of competency and quality is reflected in Evan's writing, too, as he is able to take very difficult subjective work and synthesize the stories of art and artist alike into a concise package that captures the essence of the music so it can be presented to the world at large. Taken altogether, myself and The Flenser artists that have worked with Evan have only glowing things to say and would easily recommend him and his services."

"Evan did a tremendous job of telling Chat Pile’s story in a way that was impactful and utilitarian while managing to be true to our voice. Working with people in the music industry can always be a dicey proposition, but Evan was extremely communicative, timely, and thoughtful throughout the process. We personally think his work was an essential piece of our media reach, and we can’t recommend him enough!"
- Chat Pile (artist)
“I worked with Evan when I had hired Marauder for radio campaigns on two Ipecac artists, King Garbage and Oxbow. I’ve worked with a lot of promotions teams over my career, and Evan’s attention to detail was far and above anyone’s. He took what would be a normal radio campaign for some out-of-the-box artists, and created more of a marketing/visibility plan that not only resulted in airplay, but also with local micro-marketing and successful tour promotions. Evan’s work in radio promo is really more of a great product manager in disguise, and I’d be confident he’d bring those skills to any future campaign.”
